When Oxidation Stability Enhancer ferrovanadium is added to materials, such as alloys or coatings, vanadium interacts with their microstructure and forms stable oxide layers on the material’s surface. Vanadium compounds act as protective barriers, preventing or slowing down the oxidation process at elevated temperatures.
