When Fatigue Strength Enhancer ferro vanadium is added to alloys, vanadium interacts with the material’s microstructure and enhances its resistance to fatigue failure. Vanadium forms fine precipitates or carbides within the alloy, which act as barriers to crack propagation and improve the material’s resistance to fatigue crack initiation.
