DESCRIPTION
Most corten steel planter bench are made from alloys of iron with about 10.5% of chromium. The chromium component adds the thin oxide layer on the steel’s surface, which makes it rust and tarnish resistant. The first step to make the pots is to the manufacture of corten steel sheets using the shear and brake machine. The sheets are then fused through welding to make the complex design. To make the pots even more appealing, the welds are grounded and dressed as brushed corten steel.
