DESCRIPTION
We were called in to complete all of the roofing and walling requirements of this build including the manufacture of the weathering steel wall projects for the walling as shown in the gallery below. Corten is also known as ‘weathered steel’ or ‘weathering steel’. We just love the effect this architectural wall cladding option has on the facade of the home. As you can see in the gallery above, the corten panel system is a simple, elegant cladding solution that provides a flat seam. The system uses a interlocking fold which in this case has been installed vertically but can also be used in other applications horizontally. This system must be installed on a plywood substrate. We also custom made all of the weathering steel flashings to suit the residential roofing project.
