The corten steel freestanding outdoor fireplace is made from Corten steel which produces a rustic, rusty surface after a short while. This is also protection for the steel which means that the fireplace can be left outside all year round. Corten fire place has a large opening offering a great view from the sides and gives everyone a warm and cosy feeling from the large fire. The outdoor wood burning fireplace is made of Corten steel, which is almost pure carbon steel but processed to have a protective layer on the surface to make it weather-proof. The surface is originally greyish, due the weather conditions it turns reddish-brown (resembles the colour of rusting), which becomes darker within time. If used properly, Corten steel is expressive, durable and maintenance-free and can stand the time in its own peculiar way.
